Got a bit of a problem with a 96/97 sti sports wagon i bought a couple yrs ago.just taken it in for it's mot(had no problems passing with the previous two mot's)But this time it failed on High emissions,due to some numb nuts has cut the wires from the lambda sensor that screws into the front cat just next to the turbo.Now i had no knowledge about the wiring had been cut and who ever cut it,hid the white plug that leads from the sensor,so i never spotted it until now.I just don't know where the 3 wires connect to that come from the sensor,Black,White,and Yellow with a red and green stripe along it's sleeving.ICan't get it looked at until next week as guy i know is busy,so any assistance would be good.If anyone can point me in the right direction as to where these 3 wires connect to would be of help.Apparently the mot guy said it probably is only now starting to read high emissions because with the sensor not working,it will start to after a while shorten the life of the cat.
