closed deck or no!

Default closed deck or no!

Can anyone help? There is a v6 sti block for sale but the owner doesnt know if its a od, scdb or cdb.

Open deck (assuming its original Version 6))

Easy way to check if the block has cross hatchings around the oil filter - hatchings = closed deck, smooth casting = open deck
