Default front lower strut brace?

are they std, had a look under my car today and it seems to have one (i think) blue colour which makes me believe its aftermarket.

Blue & 4pt & you can get them on ebay as Cusco rip-offs so 1 or th other.

do they actually make much difference?

i didnt buy it also (obviously) so couldnt care less whether it was cheap or not, how could i tell if its a good one or not?

the idea is that the brace stops the wheels "splaying" under load which in turn means a more rigid structure to the car, in turn meaning a more acurately controllable car & better handling. Maybe not so useful on fast road but helpful on track

doubt it would be any good for my murtaya build they are quite rigid anyway, hiw much would it be worth then?
