Hi i have litterally owned a scooby for about 36 hours so forgive me if i'm talking crap. The car is a gravel express and all paperwork and log book say 1997 but i think it may be a 1996 as its got the old style front end, and i read that the gravel express only came out for 1996 as it was a bit of a flop? The car starts well hot or cold, has no smoke and no engine noise but- has done 109000 miles so i dont want to go crazy with it. What i really want to know is the difference between the normal wrx and wrx sti? and i rang a breaker that told me i can bolt a td05 turbo and v1 sti ra or v2 sti ecu straight on without getting it set up for around 270 bhp? Is it a safe thing to do?
