hi as above i need a new engine for my 99 uk turbo impreza where is best to get 1, has any1 had any experiance with ebay engines
any help is appreciated
ps i dont have much money to spend was looking at a rebuild but the cost is way more than what i got

Sorry bud, but engines are not something you replace on the cheap. Would try David API
API Engines

 

API will be around £2700 for a rebuild with warranty. You take a big risk getting something like that from Ebay. If finances are tight I'd look at selling the car as is.

 

Might be worth trying David at API Engines - good old boy who normally has rebuilt and low mileage engines on the shelf

I happen to have a low mileage used engine at the moment. It has been thoroughly checked out and will have a modded oil pump and all new gaskets and seals fitted where possible without taking it to bits.

£1500.00 plus VAT - cash and carry. Fitting can be quoted for.

6 months / 6000 miles parts cover warranty.
