Default wheel bearing

Hi guys,im sure i have a wheel bearing away,but im not sure whiich 1,pal said to swing across wrng side of road safely ofcourse and swing back,i did and it makes drooning sound like wheel bearing gone when left hand down,now does that mean its front or back?short of cheking em all on ramp is there easy way to tell?

please help

Not really, obviously the worse it gets the easier it is to tell which one but its sometimes tricky to tell front from back, much easier to tell left from right.

On a chassis ramp, run the car in gear and the bearing that's failed will allow the wheel to "wobble" easily visible...

By the time it's knocking the brake pads back, it will have trashed the hub...

Mine made a continuous 'wur wur wur' noise at low speed so it was fairly easy to spot. Cost about £180 to have it done at the dealer I think.
