Slight running problem??

I have a 2003 wrx prodrive, 53k full service history, only mods are an aem induction kit and a ninja 2 back box, When i acerlerate its doesnt feel totally smooth until say 4.5 5k revs then its better it just seems a bit jumpy, what could it be?
