Default hesitation / no boost problem please help

hi today i was driving along in my w reg uk turbo when i put my foot down the car started to hesitate / kangeroo badly i mean badly its undriveable !! if i accelerate gently its ok and boosts up nicely and will pick its feet up. but if i plant the accelerator it tries to throw you out the seat. i have replaced the plugs and maf sensor about a month ago with subaru ones so i think we can rule them out any help would be much appreciated thanks

hi there i drive a my99 and i had the same problem it turned out to be my maf sensor £100 from area 52

dump valve openning under boost or intercooler leak

difficult to tell from description etc..

As Simon eludes to, those symptoms could be a number of things.

To me, it appears to be an airflow issue e.g. a knackered MAF confusing the ECU's fueling because of it seeing 'wrong' voltages for the appropriate load 'asked'.

Just a thought...

EDIT: Sorry, overlooked that you've replaced MAF with new OEM part ... Fueling then? Injector/s? FPR?

boost solneid?...........quick clean with carb cleaner sorted my issue out like yours
