Default 2.5" sports cats? What are my options?

As above really. Every SC I find seems to be a 3" fit which I don't want. I also don't want a 3" to 2.5" pipe, just a regular 2.5" sports cat.

Aside from hunting down a Prodrive one, does anyone have a recomendation?

Ta

I've still got this 2.5" sports cat system going.

Mine was a Graham Goode one. A few years old now, it's in 3" pipe but then narrows down to 2.5" for the last bit before it joins with the centre pipe.

The general consensus is they're not worth bothering with, as they do very little in the way of emissions control (a lot struggle come MOT) and severely hold back potential power compared to a full decat.

API David, who sells them BTW, recently said as much..

Jase, do you mean the Ninja one isn't worth bothering about or 2.5 ones in general?

100 cell per inch is essential, mine is 3 years old (TSL) and it's passed all the MOT's with ease, will need a warm up this year (?)

TSL cat goes from 3" down to 2-5/8ths" to allow use with a standard system, I fitted the TSL Group N b.box and re-res centre section.

Car only managed 340 bhp on the VF35 so no sign of restrictions there.

Sadly all coming off in the quest for 400 bhp

P.S. Japspeed are doing a deal in group buys....

Good question. My GGR one has been fine. It passes the MOT every time, my car doesn't stink and my turbo spools up very nicely. As I say, that's 3" pipe all the way down to the bottom flange which is 2.5".
