Assuming you don't want to splash out on a fully remappable option then, yes, the PP chip IS the best available! Don't entertain anything else.

I had one fitted for a year with no probs, and so have many other happy customers on here.

Also, any queries/issues with it, then Scott T. is only a PM away... and he's extremely helpful/patient (I speak of first hand experience ).

I wouldnt go for a ebay chip.
They are generic, and just been done from one car and copied and copied.
If your looking for a good map for your car to get the best performance would be a remap, but this is quite expensive. Scott T's are good from what i've heard.

aren't the polar performance chips generic?

if these ebay guys are making the chips then get one of them to copy/ish the PP chip.

- ideally whatever chip you get - get the fueling and det checked.

scott t's polar performance chips are a good start if your on a budget yes they are generic but i am sure they are suited to car type ie wrx and sti, as he wants to know exactly what car you have to make sure you get the correct map and yes he is great to talk to vey helpfull always has time to help thats why you dont hear a bad word about him well i have never heard any thing, EBAY chips look good with the low price but ask yourself will the seller have the knowledge to back-up any questions you have?, and will they be as quick to help if you have a problem as they were to take your money?

Polar performance chips are a good buy (yes a custom map is best but that will cost much more) and scott t sells them with the back up to help if its needed.

hope this helps sorry to go on a bit but i have seen people save money only to cost way more when it goes wrong PM scott have a chat you will see how good his advice is

get a chea peebay one, tailored for your car, i.e wrx, sti. cost £50 or less, and will raise boost etc, had one for a few months with no probs and by far the best value for money mod ive done.

selling it now as it happens was for a 95 wrx
