Default TD05 20g from JA Warehouse?

What are these turbo's like from this place.

I have been offered one from a local lad but the price seems too good to be true? My car is being mapped by AndyF shortly and I'm looking for either a TD05 18g or VF35 but this one has cropped up.

I've been offered it for £200 so I'm guessing the guy has bought it from them, got it mapped and it hasn't made the power he was looking for and is now trying to get rid.

I'll say this in no uncertain terms, I have had two in my hands. Stripped both and they are Crap !!! Put one on an Evo and it lasted not much longer than a trip to Tesco, as expected

The other I removed from sale as a result. Though I did use the compressor housing

The Exducer and inducer sizes are the same as a real Mitsi 20G, the rest is crap. Wheel is realy short, depth wise and the machining is realy rough !

I wouldn't use one as a food blender !

There's an old saying... If it seems to good to be true, it probably is !!!!

I bought one out of curiosity and it has been running without problems for 18 months. Currently using it on an ej257 and it is producing 390 bhp/401lbs torque. I'm very happy with it given the price.
