94 classic sti wagon misfire?
ive only owned this car for 3 weeks& only managed to drive it for one of those, problem is after driving it for a couple of hours it seems to drop in power, then give a smell of fuel from the exhaust(as not burning fuel) & engine note changes(misfire)..then it can clear only to come back again, leave it a day & you can drive again till its hot...
so far ive fitted new genuine ngk plugs from subaru,4 new coilpacks, cleaned the turbosmart dumpvalve, checked the vac pipes were i can get at,also ive unpluged maf while running to see if it cuts out,
i know when its going to do it,at idle(traffic lights)revs drop low(500rpm)followed by them raising to smell the wiff of fuel for a sec then the ruff running, since ive had the car when you drive norm you can hear a hiss while on the throttle, let off it goes after a sec or 2,checked cooler pipes,&d/v pipes
help me please as i want to enjoy my new pride n joy, cheers
