2 lamda sensors on 2005 Spec C
I decatted my Spec C today only to find what appeared to be a 2nd lamda sensor towards the end of the downpipe where it meets the centre.Can anyone tell me what its for as i have never seen this before (unless its a cat temperature probe like the early classic had)

the second lamda sensor is to check emmisions after the cat and should bring on an engine check light on your dash if decated, hayward and scott sell a simulator to avoid the check light. i think an ecutek remap will cure the light and give you more power

well its fully decatted now but i havent got an engine check light yet but i am driving sensibly keeping off boost etc until i get it mapped.I just refitted this second lamda in the new downpipe as it had a boss for it so all good.
I was just curious as i say i had never seen this before and it threw me a bit

as far as i know most cars from 01 on have the second sensor for emmisions, gonna decat my sti uk soon and will need simulator or remap, maybe jap spec c is different? cool car man.
