Default massive turbos?

hi all, i have noticed when ever someone has a massive turbo on there car with the 4" inlet, they dont have an air filter and draw air straight in the turbo, my question is where has the air flow meter gone?

With the price of the total setup these cars have they don't have to 'go cheap' and use a PFC (excapt for Andy F, but he uses 2! & 2 dawes'es )
And I honestly think they have filters on as soon as the cameras are gone.

PFC can delete the Airflow meter if you use a MafSim.

As above, most of the higher powered cars are using a Speed/Density system, which does not need an Airflow meter to derive load - It uses a MAP sensor.
