Default spark plugs again.

hey all. car has a fault that keeps coming back as a missfire on cylinder 2. hopefully putting it down to spark plug or coipl pack.
couple of Qs, how hard and how long to change them on your own?
and which side is cylinder 2 on? tried to search but no joy and limited time on tinterweb.
cheers if there are any answers. shawn

no.2 is front- right bank as you look at the engine. and a plug change is pretty easy takes about 10-15 mins.

Hi Shaun, are you aware that the Neutral Position Switch on the gearbox can cause this fault to be displayed ? If worn or damaged it "rattles" and is sensed as the fault you have displayed. Mine caused problems back in 2007 whilst mapping. Does your car feel smooth, but a touch down on power ?

IIRC

Give Rick @ REMotorsport a call to confirm, as we were chatting today about my current up-grades.

Duncan

P.S. Number 3 is next to the turbo , so 1 is in front, thus 2 is passenger side front ?

seems to pull ok but stutters a bit, like a slight missfire, not a big one but have been told it only takes a blip to throw the light on.
only really tell when foot on loud pedal hard lol. can notice it if you are on the motorway and go to overtake.
cheers
