Wheel bearings NOT worn ?
Have had a seriously annoying scraping / grinding noise coming from near side wheels for about the last 3 to 4 months. Happens only when turning right and noise gets worse as load into corner increases.
Having visited a number of garages and having spent a fair bit of time researching this noise, I was almost certain it was a wheel bearing - difficult to tell whether front or rear. So much so I have now systematically replaced both near side bearings (front and rear) at some expense but to no avail.
Tonight however I stumbled across this .............. (will have to cut/paste)

Not tried it yet but am optimistic and may save me, and others from despair.
