Default 2.5 conversion

hi can any one tell me if i need sti hesds if converting my96 turbo 2000 to a 2.5 sti bottom end

don't think you do,your standard heads should go straight on.if you can get a set of sti heads it will be better.

standard wrx heads fit straight on mate, just done the same thing. 2.5 gaskets and set the comp ratios properly with gasket thickness.

Be careful as if your heads are phase 1 units (93-96) and your looking for anything over 350bhp ish the cams are to mild . I know I've got this problem so I've just bought a new set to put on . Buy sti heads v3 or v4

should go straight on i did the conversion about 3 years ago on my98 with no poblems.

get intouch with mark at lateral preformance he'll sort you out, really knows what hes talkin about when it comes to these things
