Default Commander

Hi, just wondering on the power fc commander whats the abbreviation for PGS and ICW, I think ICW could be intercooler waterspray just need confirmation. Its just that PGS is flashing intermittantly when driving and shuold the exhaust temp sensor be reading 5.10 volts all the time. If the reading is wrong could it cause a running problem. My car is a v4 sti
Cheers
James

PGS? Can't think for the like of me what that could mean Are you sure the little LCD isn't displaying 'PCS'?, for Purge Control Solenoid? Just a thought...

It is ICV which is the Idle Control Valve and it is PGS but joz you are correct it refers to the purge solenoid.

Cheers for that so its the purge solenoid just cycling on and off. What about the exhaust temp voltage should it be reading 5.10 volts?

Cheers for the reply JGM. EXTM is reading 5.10 volts, sorry i thought it was exhaust temperature going by the abbreviation. Its the bottom left one in the sensor voltage page.

it has been said to be exhaust gas temp in the past but the ecu does nothing with exhaust gas temp and I don't believe it is used.

I tihnk it is just a dummy value and carried over from the other powerfc models etc..
