Default Holding Back!!!???

My scoob seems to be holding back between 3000 and 5000rpm. Only just started doin it and really gettin on my t*ts.
Any ideas??

Given it's a 99 then it is likely the MAF sensor. 98-00 cars are known for weak (hotwire) MAF's. If the idle is a little variable too then it would compound my suspicions. Do an ECU reset and check the fault code, or book it in for a diagnostic. Whatever you do, lay off the loud pedal until you've got it sorted unless you want a big bill !

how do i reset ecu, check fault code??
