I'm replacing the ECU on my 02WRX (with one which has been ecutek remapped, but otherwise the same OE part). I think I need to get the key transponder reprogrammed, or is it the remote plipper?

Is it only dealers who can do this, if so any idea how much it costs?

 

it can be done by any ecutek dealer.. I expect subaru dealer can too.

Assuming you are getting it mapped once ecu is fitted speak with mapper.

it only takes 30seconds on the laptop etc..
