Driving today and the red engine check light comes on every time i come to a stop or de-celerate all other times it stays off.

I connected the black test wires together and nothing, maybe because i have an apexi fc ecu (not sure?).

Car runs ok seems to back fire a bit when slowing down though.

Any help greatly appreciated

just had a look at the readings on the apexi fc, cannot see anything obvious.
Does anyone know what the knock reading should be.

 

the fault code wires do not work with an apexi ecu. maybee the knock link warning, depends on what it has been set too best to check with the mapper or if you have the old ecu plug it in and then do the fault wires and check the code.

 

have no history of the engine mapper. what is worst case ?? if it is knock link
