Get yourself a car de-humidifier. Its a bag full of silicon crystals that absorb the moisture in the car.Its like those little white bags you get in shoe boxes etc but bigger. They are available from Classic car restoration, kit cars and motorcycle restoration tools and equipment - Frost Auto

If you are getting a whiff of coolant from the heater then the matrix has probably gone or is about to go **** up

Check the pollen filter(if fitted). It may be dirty or even wet and need changing. This can have a big effect on condensation
