Hi there, ive owned my 1997 sti for about three weeks now and have had a problem that when the car has warmed up and start to use the turbo, it does a massive cough.
Its as if the turbo is shutting down due to over boost.
I sent the car back to the garage i bought it from and he said I needed a new boost controller, so this part was changed and the car has been fine about a week. and now its started to do it again.
The car is going back again but thought if any body on here knew else could be causing such a problem.
