Default judder!!

help!
no idea why i had 2 tyres fitted (f1 assym) at the front, still got gsd03 at the back

but my steering wheel judders like a maniac at about 70mph

i checked if the nuts are tightened (cos that was the problem last time)

but they are ok,

anyother reason why?
i checked the teeth on the actual bolts on the front and they are perfect

I would suggest that they are not balanced properly

does that affect it?

Put them on the back and see what happens, if they judder there then they are knackered, or not balanced properly...

Don't bet on it! I had my Toyo's T1-R's fitted by some cowboys, as they juddered from about 65+mph, and really bad at 70-odd!

Took car to somewhere else, got them to rebalance... everything was fine.

Replaced Toyos with F1 Asymmetrics, went to a third tyre fitters, no problems with balancing either.

Not all fitters are equal... Or as Clarkson would say: "Some are more equal than others." lol

Good one

The dodgy place was Walkers off of Narborough Rd, Leic.

The 2 other 'decent' places were Mr Tyre in Aylestone Rd, Leic and the other was, I think, Kwik-Fit.
