turbo & ecu change from sti to uk?????

Question turbo & ecu change from sti to uk?????

right now if you havent read my other posts already my oil seals went on my99 uk turbo this weekend now after alot of searching ive found and bought a vf 24 turbo, intercooler and ecu from a 98 sti its a 3plug ecu now what i need to know is will it work if i just bolt it all on as i dont want to do it all and drive down the road and blow my engine to bits. any help is much appreciated cheers

Ecu wont fit as it is a 3plug 98 and yellow plugs, yours are grey and blue and although 3plug are very different.
Your standard ecu is mappable via ecutek, fit the parts and then get it remapped to suit

hi simon at the moment i cant afford the remap would it do any damage if i fitted the parts and took it easy till after christmas when i can afford a remap cheers

does any1 know if it will do any damage just bolting the turbo on till i can get a remap????

driving off boost it would be fine..

run a single piece of pipe between the actuator and compressor cover so it can only run actuator pressure.. then if you get carried away.. the boost can't
