The conclusion to my last blog, where my uk scoob was a bit poorly and making smells. Well, the smells came from a cam cover gasket leak, which the nice people at Triton Subaru have fixed...the inconsistent running, which I put down to pinking, which may be an inaccurate technical term, was the air mass meter. They replaced it with a second hand one and now its running more like an Impreza should.They guys at Triton also agree that although a UK car CAN run on 95 unleaded, if you like to give it "beans" go for super unleaded.

Well, my car made 200hp on 95 ron, with a duff air mass meter, so I wonder what it would be making now, fixed and on super, a few BHP more I hope, certainly nearer the stock 208.......
