Default ECU Options

Well, after getting pissed off with the very sluggish starting of my v4 Type R and having replaced pretty much everything.....only to find out like it's been like this for years, I've now come to the conclusion it's the ECU.

I've noticed a few 2nd hand ECUs knockin about but I think i'm just going to bite the bullet and do the sensible thing and upgrade to different management.

The car only has basic mods (decat, panel filter, walbro) so what do you guys think is my best option?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

JK

I think the ECU of choice at present is the Simtek....No MAF, dual maps and not a lot more money than the Apexi power fc.

Hydra is also a good ECU.
