Default remap or not new member advice needed

hi im new on hear and the is my first scooby just after sum advice

last week i bought a 1993 wrx it has had an engine rebuild with new race pistons big end shells heads skimmed an new valves ect i have a recipt for 3400 quid .it also has BRAND NEW JAPSPEED 3" BORE STRAIGHT THROUGH STAINLESS EXHAUST WITH JAPSPEED SPORT BELLMOUTH DOWN-PIPE.and stainless manifolds .uprated fuel pump with adjusterble fuel pressure gauge under bonnet, boost control . induction kit an turbo timer . the car is still limited to 112mph so does this mean the ecu has never been mapped for these modifications . if so would a good map gain me more power and torque .
the fuel pressure is set to about 2.7 bar with the vacum pipe pulled off 2.0 bar with it on and boost is about 1 bar also its got a td05 turbo is this standard size on this model

sorry for all the questions guys

i'll be corrected if im wrong but older classics when you change them to mph from kph that should take the 112 limit off them.

nothing wrong with getting the mapping checked just for peace of mind.

If it's still limited, chances are you've still got the standard ecu. You can plug a chip into the spare socket in the ecu, which will de-restrict it,also mods the boost and allows safe running on uk fuel.
The better way is to fit an esl live chip which can be re-mapped (the standard ecu can't be mapped).
This will set you back £500-£550 fitted/mapped, but well worth it! At the same time, get a later map sensor fitted, and larger injectors (440 0r 550),which will allow you to run more than 1.1bar. The difference after this will be huge!

Generally, fuel pressure should be 3bar with the vac line off, dropping to about 2.6 with it on.

Fuel pressure should go up inline with boost.

IMHO, you need to get it looked at by someone that knows what they are looking at else it will be "bang" time.

Yep, 440's are a straight swop, as long as their the correct phase. The standard 380's you have (taking it they haven't been changed already) will max out around the 300bhp mark.

Dont know how easy of a job injectors are but 440's will get you 350max with suporting mods, i would not run 440's above 330 though.

I had a 97 vts, great little car. Loved the go kart feel. Not many vts's about, insurance jump from the vrt is quite big which seems to put people off!

At last! After a whole 2 months of his ScoobyECU being up for sale, looks like scoobboy could've finally found a potential buyer! LOL
