Default Boost problems

I was at a rolling road day yestarday & while my scoob was on the rollers it just wasnt boosting right! It seemed to have no mid range boost & was only pulling 0.5 bar of boost on my gauge & as a result of this the figures i got were 252bhp & 217lbft. compared to 284bhp & 279lbft after getting it remapped.

I have a 2002 WRX with the following mods-Full Milteck 3" decat system,walbro255 fuel pump,K&N filter,NGK 7B plugs & Andy F remap.

The guys at Dastek said it could be the boost soleinod so i took it off today and cleaned it out & then took the car for a good run were it seemed to be going ok 4th gear 5000rpm at 1.1Bar of boost!

But then on the way home it was back to square one again boost up to 3000rpm then nothing then pick up again at 5000rpm 0.7bar!

What should my car be boosting at?

Can anyone help me out on this????

Cheers
Barry

Andy's probably targeted 17-18PSI(1.2BAR) if you're on the standard turbo, which you probably are. It could just be the boost solenoid giving up the ghost, no leaks in the pipes leading from the BCS, turbo/wastegate?

There should be a pill in the pipe from the turbo to the t-piece.
