Default Rear Differential problem...maybe!?!

Think got a problem with the rear dif on my 1999 impreza uk spec...not getting any noise etc when driving BUT when going slow eg pulling into my drive up a small (inch high) curb with 3/4 lock on theres a "clunk" sound...thought was exhaust hitting or the suspension but thats fine.....anyone else had same???

Could be the back box inlet pipe hitting the nearside rear half-shaft, as the suspension compresses over the kerb

Mine does this on changing gear when accelerating hard. Makes a loud clonk lol.
