Its a bugeye 51 plate STI. I am getting fault code 72 Shift Solenoid #2 Circuit.

These are OBDII trouble codes which it looks like it could have something to do.

P0751Shift Solenoid A Malfunction
P0753Shift Solenoid A Electrical
P0756Shift Solenoid B Malfunction
P0758Shift Solenoid B Electrical
P0761Shift Solenoid C Malfunction
P0763Shift Solenoid C Electrical
P0766Shift Solenoid D Malfunction
P0768Shift Solenoid D Electrical
P0771AT Low Clutch Timing Solenoid Valve Circuit Malfunction
P0771Shift Solenoid E Malfunction
P0773Shift Solenoid E Electrical

In the list of Diagnostic Trouble Codes, there is none of these codes but has most of all other OBDII trouble codes.

I have tried resetting the ecu no luck code 72 is back. Disconected the leads start car again engine CEL light stays on. Phoned a subaru garage the tech person said it could be do with the automatic gear box. Oh really it has a six speed manual in it.

It would be good if anyone could help any ideas Cheers.
