Default WRX 2004 PPP

Hi,

My pals just bought the above car and I was wondering what the PPP pack for the WRX consists of?

He's looking to modify it, would he be better ditching the prodrive back box and just getting a straight through de-catted turbo back system? (does anyone know how many cats are on a 2003/4 WRX?) What are the best makes to get?

After the exhausts on he's then going to get it remapped asap as the APS CAI (fitted by last owner) is making his car DET.

Would you advise him to change the spark plugs for this level of tune and also change to a Walbro fuel pump? Or are these a bit OTT for limited mods.

Thanks in advance
Neil

If its the same as the 2001 PPP consists of a decat centre pipe, ecu upgrade, intercooler pipe, backbox.

I would have thought sports cat downpipe, decat up pipe an uprated fuel pump and a remap would give him what he wants, thats the route I want to take on mine.
