Default Boost problems/poss fcd?

Hi,
New on here!

Got a slight problem with my 1995 wagon (turbo)

When it's just warm it runs fine but when it's had a bit of a run it starts to judder under full boost. It also pops and backfires as well and the check engine light comes on the dash when it does this.

The boost gauge is showing just over 1bar on full boost.

Could it need a fuel cut defender fitting and properly setting up or could it be something more serious?

Sometimes it's fine, but it doesn't pull like it's running just over 1 bar
Thanks in advance

Someone has altered the car as it should not be running over 1 bar boost , standard is about 0.8 bar , first off is to find out how/why its running higher boost , is there a dawes devices controlling the actuator or a bleed valve on the map sensor , has the ecu been chipped ? Also as above you need to check what the fault code is .
