Default CAN ANYONE HELP

Hi i have just put a sti version 4 gear box in my uk wagon,i had it mapped before with my uk box in do i need to get it mapped again because of fitting new box thanks all

no mapping req but was the rear diff also changed to match the gearbox as the sti box you have fitted will have different ratios to the uk

I never put the diff on and it is driving ok i have it thou should i put it on

You will need to fit that jap rear diff, your new box will be winding your uk rear diff up, if a remember correctly.

how long does it normally take to break that diff and is it hard to change the diff ?

not sure which way it would go(gearbox wind up diff or diff out run gearbox front diff) either way needs to be changed asap the sti gearbox is 4.1 final drive and the uk diff is 3.9 i think thats right anyway so defo mismatched i am glad i asked this now fella

yep luke what ya like lol if you have swapped the box ok the diff will be easy with the 4.1 ratio's that is gonna be slightly quicker gearing so that car is gonna move some (even more than it did anyway)although it will poss feel like it needs another gear when in 5th!!! if ya got my number give us a call

Seem s the same but second feels like it is a rocket can u fit the diff?

Your diff will wine not your box also u will need mapp to tweek to alter finall drive ie get more top end figures diff will be fine for locall driving ie no mad boost ect......

I am already at that power now and only on 1.3 boost you dont think it has any more?
