I believe you can i think a problem would be the redzone chip (if it actually has 1) as it most probably would be mapped very aggressively.

the ecu is from a 93 wrx and says it is set up to 295bhp with 1 bar of boost if you have other mods i had mine rolling roaded today and its running 265bhp and the mods i have is fmic td05 turbo decat downpipe decat centre and baileys d.v. so do you think this redzone chip would be too aggresive as i am yet to chip mine.

So you don't have the Redzone chip then?

tbh you would be better getting a remappable ecu it will be expensive but can be mapped exactly for your mods.

A V7 map is actually better then a U8 map.
It's a much smoother fuel/ignition/boost map.
Both run exactly the same boost peak so would be very little difference.
The UK will probably feel better/smoother and is ceratinly safer and can be run on 95RON if s desired
