more help needed please crank shaft sensor

Question more help needed please crank shaft sensor

ive just tryed test the ohms but no joy i take it the egnition should be on just cant seem to get any readings or im just doing it wrong any sugestions please

If you're just checking to see if it works, take it out of the engine and connect a voltmeter across the terminals (analogue is better for this) and quickly pass a screwdriver or similar across the face of the sensor. You should see a reaction on the meter.

Does the car start? If the sensor was shot,it wouldn't.
