Question crank shaft sensor

hi can any 1 help my car has started to not start ? untill i fidle with the crank shaft sensor and then it starts fine just lately its just stalled on me does any1 no what voltage the feed should be reading on this sensor .is this a common fault ? thanks for any help .

Remove the sensor and clean the base of it to start with.
Measure the resistance of the Crank sensor across the 2 termainals - should be 950 ~ 1,250 Ohms.

Have you given the connector a good clean,could just be dirty
