air filter choice

can anyone help i,m new to the scooby world i,ve got a 98 turbo with a standard airfilter and a dump valve can anyone tell me if this would run better with a K&N induction kit fitted CHEERS NEW SCOOBY PLAYER

Induction kit can feed hot air into your engine, reducing power, unless it has a cold air feed. Also it can damage the MAF due to increased vibration. The OE filter is fine unless you're going for BIG BHP

alrite mate

stick with the standard dump valve and air box and just put a panel filter in ie;green(lots of people use these including me!!)or a k+n or similar.
