off the top of my head you will need to change the following,
engine
gearbox
diffs
ecu/loom
exhaust system
then theres the stuff you should change
brakes
shocks
springs
arb etc
also make sure that the donor car is the same phase as your car as its a major head **** swapping bits over then trying to make it all work.
then when its all done you will have a car thats worth less than a genuine turbo and you will be robbed blind when you try to insure it.
save yourself this pain sell your n/a scoob and buy a nice turbo, theres some absolute bargains out there these days.
call into this site great for n/a scoobs www.imprezasport.net check out newportwhitescooby and his turbo conversion project.
hope this helps.

Why do people think this is a cheap option?
It costs considerably more than buying a turbo
Plus you will still be paying turbo money for the insurance.
As stated, buy a turbo to start with, you would be replacing most of the car to get it anywhere near a turbo spec.

As above: If you have a sport, just save up for a turbo. It might mean you'll have to be patient now, as opposed to getting the ball rolling straight away by getting a turbo engine fitted, but it'll be worth waiting in the long run.
