That's track-day figures!
In ordinary everyday driving, you should see at least twice that, depending on the level of tune. I have around 370bhp and in general driving, get 22-24mpg - (but not if I use the power)

Around 24mpg cruising on the motorway ... but a spirited B-road blast can use a quarter tank in no time.
The car has been remapped though, which did improve economy over the PPP map.

my god lol my car is still under warrenty so ive had it sent back in 3 times to find this problem! i thought it was over fueling, mine is tweeked up a bit, full exhaust headers kit uprated fpr and induction kit but had it on the rollers and it got 287 bhp with standard boost 1 bar.Think its time for a remapand 20g turbo should see 370 cheers

Fancy headers on an otherwise fairly standard car, especially without a good re-map, could arguably, loose you some power (don't think you're making full standard boost!) Do you really need that uprated fuel reg? I would have thought an uprated pump with standard regulator might be a better combination?

287 at the wheels then matey? I manage about 180 miles out of the tank before I consider where the petrol station is, if I could drive like Miss Daisy i'm sure it could be better but then I may as well drive a Micra!!

10mpg...... there is either something wrong with your car, or you! lol.

I get 240-260 miles from full to waring light, which includes 60% town driving (less than 2 miles at a time). Went south last week and got 280 think i had a good 25-30 miles before warning light left as well. Car is a JDM STI MY03.

I would doubt that very much!! That would give him around 325 at the flywheel? I could easily see the PPP with those headers giving below the book figure at 287? Don't forget, the boost seems down, at 1bar

My 2004 UK STI running 340Bhp (ECUTek remap, running max 1.5 boost and few other mods) gets me about 240 miles to a tank but thats my normal everyday driving to work and back. Thats a round trip of about 15 miles a day 90% of which is 30-40mph limits so not the best for economy

On a run staying around 75-80mph I could get 300 to a tank, if not a bit more, but I have only done one long run since having the car and got to around 250 but then was back to work so on the slow roads again for the rest of the tank/a few days which got me to just over 280.

When giving it some though then it drops quicker than a ho's panties!! A few weeks back I had to get it hot for its MOT so gave it some beans up and down a 3 mile stretch of dual carriage way a few times, later that week I noticed it had only done about 40-50 miles on the first quarter of a tank where normally I get about 70-80 so I wouldn't want to drive it like that for too long

If you’re getting the mpg for normal driving then I would suggest something ain't right somewhere??

I have found exactly what stiscooby is saying. Approx 240 a tank to work living on the isle of wight, and then on the motorway on the 'mainland' i get around 300miles.

Can I just ask what numbers you've got to come to 10 mpg? I manage 16 - 25 mpg, calculated every time I fill up.

340bhp = 22 to 24mpg with mixed driving conditions.
I did have somebody tell me recently they managed to get about 80 miles out of a whole tank full once, and not on track days.

Then he rattled his engine to pieces 2 weeks later

I have got approx 240 out of a full tank with being on boost some of the time. If I was on boost more I guess it would go down but if I went off boost for the majority of the tank I am sure I could get 280ish (but that is a guess though).

now ive got a scooby ive never driven so slow in my life on motorways, i try my best not to go above 2.5k rpm and give myself an extra 10 mins or so for the journey staying behind lorries at 55 if possible. i got 200 miles out of half a tank driving like that.

makes me feel less guilty come the weekend when im burning more fuel mpg than a F1 car on those sexy b roads

396bhp and around 22mpg in a modded twin scroll.

That includes 650cc injectors.

All properly mapped on the raod, which may be where some of the lower figures come from (Using a Dyno map, or off the shelf map).

55 on a motorway??

I try but my right foot always slips!

I do a 40 mile round trip each day, mainly motorway, I cant help but cruise at motoway speed limit (ish) and tend to average 230 - 250 per tank depending on how much fun I have. If I'm really spirited then it is a lot less!

My car is a 55 WRX, just had mods and remap to bring it up to 344bhp (dash dyno) and if anything the economy is worse now than before, probably because I'm enjoying it too much
