Info on Ceramic coating

Hi all,

I understand Ceramic coating keeps heat in, but does it keep heat out? e.g inlet pipes from FMIC to the inlet manifold

I don't know for sure, but common sense says Yes ... a thermal barrier is a thermal barrier however you look at it.
