Steering is very light and lacks feel
Just wondering if this is the same with all classic Imprezas.
Steering is so light to the point where a 02 clio feels heavy (they are also very light) and our 205 without power steering seems impossible to turn.
Basically my arm muscles seem to be vanishing quickly.
I also find the adjustable power steering annoying, as if i'm cruising very gently round a corner and the revs drop into the 1500's the wheel gets even lighter and end up turning sharper than I'd like.
Whilst the car handles great, its hard to find the limit when the steering feel is so light and, well pants. Am I just used to 205's?
Is there a quick rack that would help or a away of reducing power steering assistance and stopping it increasing assistance at lower revs?
