TD-05 20G fitting to 05 sti type uk
hi guys,
looking for a little bit of info on turbo replacement.taking off the stock turbo and putting on a 20g one.my question is does anyone know if anything else is needed to add to setup....
i am a mechanic by trade but havent much experience at changing or upgrading turbos.

make sure you use the banjo bolt that came with tdo5 as the oil holes are different sizes between vf35 and td05. also make sure you put the restricter pill in new piping and don't use boost til you have it mapped

didnt get any banjo bolts or gaskets with the td05....have to try and source them now....any ideas???

just opened up the box with the turbo and theres no gaskets,no studs/bolts...nothing except the bare turbo and actuator!!!
rang the supplier who told me when i was buying that it had everything included...and now he says thats all i get....
any lads know of a kit i can buy with the bits i need...
dont want to strip my car and find i need a banjo or whatever and have to leave it stripped for few days as i drive this weapon everyday!!!

i used the oil banjo pipe off my vf35 straight swap. i did have to use some new 13mm heater pipe hose from the turbo to the header tank,and make sure you use some jubilee clips on the water pipes as the standard subaru ones didnt seal.

I had this problem buddy!!
Had to order new banjo bolts and pipes from eBay and change the heads from the new pipes to the ones from my VF35!! Getting them fitted tomorrow, cars been off the road for 2 weeks while I've been trying to source new bolts!! Very annoying indeed!
