How much is it going to fix?
I have a 99 Corsa Sport 1.4 16v still not got a scooby, but has now died. The garage I have taken it to has said that the following has gone, i might miss things out and get some wrong so im sorry about that, the crank shaft, the valves, pistons, con rod? what does this all mean and is it worth repairing he said it will be about £1000 and has no idea why it has all gone.
Sorry if none of it makes sense.

basicly your engine is badgered, aka fecked, aka needs rebuilding.
tbh for what its worth then might be worth ebaying it as a rolling shell, the £1000 is for the rebuild by the way and after you have spent that i doub't you'll get your money back.
as for the cause, could be any number of things, but sounds like everything bar the main block is nackered. must have been a pretty catastrofic failure to do that

the garage has taken the whole engine apart and there are bits everywhere. i´m in usa for two months and my dad is looking after things for me. so it causes some problems. how much would a 2 litre engine cost me second hand would this be a goer or just plain silly.

A 2.0 16v XE goes for £300-400. You'll need the engine mounts and driveshafts converted, maybe a larger fuel pump depending on what is fitted just now.
Also you can't use the SFi intake box, a smaller version is required, as there's not enough room.
Plenty of Corsa web-sites with more info about such conversions and links for places to buy the driveshafts if you don't want to make your own.
