Question

Hi there,

Anybody tell me how to get the wiper blades off, had a good look at lunchtime in the rain, and can see something that pushes in, but doesn't loosen the blade.

Gave up cos it was raining, but ideally need to fit the new passenger side one ASAP as the old one has shredded

Sorry for asking dumb question, just don't want to get any more cold and wet than I have to.

Ta,

Simon.

whenever i replace my wipers, i always go down to Halfords. If i have any probs getting the old ones off/new ones on, i ask one of the guys inside to help me out. They have always been helpful and they are usually open late (till 8pm).

Just changed mine. Turn the wiper blade 90 degrees to the wiper arm then at the end of the wiper arm it is a 'U' shape there is a little catch you press down on and then you can slide the blade off. May be a bit stiff if its been on a while. Hope that makes sense.

Wink

Thanks, makes sense especially now I've found the bit in the owner's manual that explains it too... got the blades in the car, just got to put them on at lunchtime now as it's dry today

Thanks folks,

Simon.
