VF23 on MY99 RB5 what supporting mods?

VF23 on MY99 RB5 what supporting mods?
Picking up a VF23 de-cat downpipe and FMIC for my standard RB5. All i think i need to support this is an uprated fuel pump, regulator and a re-map?
Would it be ok to fit the VF23 and decat for 3 to 4 months use before i get the FMIC fitted and the car mapped?
