when i bought my wrx it had a boost gauge but wires where not conected i conected the wires and it came on but when i took it out to try it it only regestering 0.5 bar of boost the pipe has had a t conector in to the pipe from the actuator on the turbo is that correct any ides why my car would only be running at 0.5 bar instead of 0.9 bar

My first port of call would be to see if the gauge was right....

A good way to check is to get it on a rolling road near you and get them to measure boost as well as give you power figures (and checking fueling).

This will also serve as a good baseline for any future modifications so wont be money wasted.

I dont know what area you are in but I use Zen performance in Northampton as Paul's dyno set up is very good
