Question apexi avc-r

Apexi avc-r....

Has any one installed one of these boost controlers on their classic?,

If so do you still retain the original pressure sensor and boost control

solenoid or do you replace them with the ones supplied ???....

retain.. assuming you are on standard ecu you will get a CEL if you remove either.. obviously you need to unplumb the boost solenoid.. but leave the map (pressure) sensor plumbed.

You should of course get the car remapped for the new boost level...

ps: you can use a resistor instead of the OE boost solenoid if you wanted
