Default CEL coming on at night?!

Alright folks, this is my first post on Scoobynet,so bear with me!

Just bought an sti v3,when I test drove the car everything was perfect but when I drove the car home during the night the CEL light came on,and the car was idling very low.I drove the car to my local Subaru dealer the next morning, and the fault code for the idle speed controller flashed up.But it idles fine with no CEL on during the day!! I wondered about the MAF sensor, but thats recently been replaced(allegedly)by the dealer I bought the car from. Also, would a faulty ISCV tap if its broken or requires replacement?Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
