I fitted a magnex 1, not the best, i think the flanges are out of line slightly, first thing you will notice is the increase in noise as it changes your exhaust note/depth, then the throttle response, i found it alot sharper on pick up and the turbo will spool quicker, from what i have read in the past you are as well getting your original uppipe gasflowed. My mate has the same model and year as myself with very similar mods, only additional on my car is the uppipe and sti top mount but power figures are much the same

The boss in the WRX up-pipe if for the EGTsensor.............it's not there in the STi item.

If you fit the STi up-pipe then you will need a resistor fix in the EGT sensor socket next to the drivers side suspension turret, not allways 100% reliable though.

Might be easier to find a used WRX item and keep the EGT sensor

I have a miltek up pipe for my bugeye, BIG difference in performance. The drive feels much smoother and can now feel a big difference in power.

Well worth the money!
